Laughing Gas

Laughing gas is the most common type of dental sedation, and we highly recommend it. Laughing gas will help your child feel giddy and relaxed. It takes effect almost immediately and wears off quickly.

How do we do it?

Laughing gas is delivered through a mask over the nose
Your child will inhale a blend of laughing gas and oxygen
It takes effect almost immediately, making your child instantly comfortable
As soon as the mask is removed, the effects wear off

General Anesthesia

We also offer general anesthesia for children when appropriate. Under the effects of general anesthesia, your child will simply fall asleep. They will have no memory of treatment when they wake. General anesthesia wears off after several hours.
